Philosophical Practice

Our lives are shaped by our mental models, hidden networks of thoughts - beliefs, conceptual commitments and subtle mental formations and postures of the mind.  Sometimes these networks of thought are tangled, hiding the path of our happiness and wellbeing.  Philosophy is a resource for untangling the knots of our thoughts and for exposing and critically examining the assumptions our thoughts are rooted in. We are free to think in fresh ways and to adopt novel perspectives on our lives.  We  return to our lives with renewed clarity and vigor.

As a philosopher, I place my 40 + years of study, teaching and practice at your disposal.   Together we can draw on the wisdom of multiple Western and Eastern philosophical frameworks to clarify the path you are walking and thus take the next steps forward.

I engage in three forms of philosophical practice:

  • Philosophical counseling·
  • Contemplative Practice
  • Philosophical Dialogue
